It is important for handmade soap to dry out between uses.
Glycerin attracts water and handmade soap contains the glycerin made from the soap making (saponification) process. While this is great for your skin, it's not so great for your soap. If your soap is placed in a dish that can hold water the soap will break down very quickly. Please allow your soap to sit on a self-draining soap dish.
